seen from president obama and the american jobs act a couple of years ago was that, a bipartisan approach, giving tax credits to employers to hire individuals and at the same time forcing individuals to go out and get the job training they need. unfortunately, the great idea like this gets stalled in the house of representatives. it doesn't move forward and the american people suffer. and that's a sad reality of the situation. what we really need is bipartisan solutions, people coming together, people working together to uplift and end poverty. we're the richest country in the world and ending poverty should be one of our top priorities because that's how we maintain our global leadership worldwide is by ending poverty across this country. sadly, i don't think the focus is here in washington like it needs to be. >> good to see both of you, thanks. >>> today's tweet of the day comes from pope francis. if we see someone who needs help, do we stop? there is so much suffering and poverty and a great need for good samaritans. you know, ronny... folks who save hundreds of dollars by sw

induststrategy fo gop. even talking about impeaching president obama, the first african-american president, is a horrible idea coming a week after they have this tweet about rosa parks ending racism and after mitt romney last year was going on about self-deporting for illegal immigrants. this is a conversation that is going to be detrimental to republicans and they need to focus on a positive agenda. what is it they want to do. you can't vote 42 times to repeal obama care and think that is a policy. you have to have some futuristic ideas. >> as a republican that's where i want to see my party going. if you're going to talk about appealing obama care, what are you going to replace it with? so far as a party we haven't done that. >> great to have you both here. >>> well, it may be a balmy 50 degrees for the rockefeller center christmas tree lighting here in new york tonight but don't tell that to the people in the west and midwest. they are getting hammered by an arctic blast and the third winter storm already this season. some areas of colorado will see as much as two feet of snow

million americans who won't be covered by obama care because their states are refusing medicaid expansion. >> our state is doing something called insure oklahoma. we've done it several years. it was a ramp-up process where it was a state solution to deal with uninsured in our state. that now is also considered illegal and we're going through the process to try to figure out people that were covered under insure oklahoma, that are exactly in that pool you're describing, now are being pushed out and our state has to then reconfigure. the biggest issue is why. you talk to the people that were covered under insure oklahoma, they liked their coverage. they have come to me and complained and said why can't i deep this. and so there are big issues. so it's simple to look at the data from a distance but when you know those families face to face, you see the real effect on them. a car dealership in central oklahoma city just talked to two days ago and his statement is he's now gone back on and discovered he's losing his insurance because he's one of those small associations -- small busi
